Hello everyone it’s Zinia here with a fun layout using the brand new gigantic sticker books by America Crafts. There is one sticker book for every signature designer and they include thousands of stickers from multiple collections. With white, clear and gold foiled elements you have a ton of options for your crafty projects or your planners.
For today’s layout, I only used these beautiful sticker books to embellish my page, showing you a couple of different ways you can use them. I decided to combine a few collection to create a custom color palette so I used a mix of 1Canoe2, Shimelle and Dear Lizzy.
The first step was to pick a background paper and trace a circle in the middle. Most of the sticker books include pages with faux washi stickers. The material is regular sticker paper but they have this linear shape that looks like washi strips. So I went ahead and used a few of these stickers, cut them into banners and placed them all around my circle.
Once the whole outline of the circle was covered, I cut another circle out of white cardstock and placed it in the middle to cover the messy ends of the stickers. To embellish my page I decided to use some of the beautiful floral stickers from Shimelle and 1Canoe2. Since those stickers were clear, I couldn’t place them on top of the colorful patterns because they would get lost. So I stuck them on a scrap piece of white cardstock and fussy cut around them to turn them into ephemera.
Next I decided to work on my title. I wanted something big and eye catching so I picked the word “memories” from the Star Gazer Chipboard words. To help it blend in with the bright colors I used on my page, I decided to color it with the Vicki Boutin inks. I used the blending sponge, dabbed some of the lighter pink first, and then went a bit heavier with a darker shade at the bottom to create an ombre effect.
Then it was time to put everything together. I placed the flowers at the sides of the circle and the bit title on top of them. I tucked my photos underneath to help them blend with the other elements and as a final touch I added some gold splatters.
These sticker books include such a great variety of designs and finishes that the possibilities are endless. I really hope you got excited about them and you got inspired to use your stickers in fun and creative ways. Until next time, happy crafting.
