Hi everyone! Welcome to parties week! When I think of parties, I think of invitations. Nothing beats a homemade party invitation. This homemade party invitation and matching envelope came together quickly using the embellishments and supplies from the Shimelle Glitter Girl collection.
I started off my project by creating a card base using the "For The Win" paper. Next, I handcut a cute speech bubble from the "Make Magic" paper and adhered it on top. I added thickers and a couple of cute cloud stickers. Once that part was finished I added a couple of cute enamel dots from the collection to add dimension and an adorable glitter shaker sticker. I figured the glitter shaker sticker would be perfect for hosting an ice cream party or little girl's party.
Finally, to finish off my card I added a cute glitter icon paper clip (also from the Shimelle Glitter Girl Collection) and I wrapped a piece of gold and white twine around it before adhering it to the left handside of my card.
Now, onto the envelope. Every cute party invitation needs a matching envelope right? I created this envelope using a Silhouette cut file and more paper from the collection. I also added a 3d bow to the top portion of my envelope.
I hope that you have enjoyed my invitation card and matching envelope today. I hope that it has inspired you to create your own.
