Hello there AC fans! What an exciting time it is here at American Crafts with all of the new collections being released! I was privileged to work with the newest collection from Amy Tangerine, Sunshine and Good Times, and I’d love to share my layout with you today!
This versatile collection is perfect for documenting anything from a tropical vacation to an everyday moment! I chose the latter, and documented a lovely brunch with my daughter and two Goddaughters. Because these girls provide such a ray of sunshine in my life, I chose the beautiful Shine Bright patterned paper to make up the background of my layout, but to keep some white space on my background, I cut it to adhere to the top left and bottom right corners of my page, allowing my photo to be placed in the central “ray” of white space. To make my photo pop against the colorful background, I matted it with the black and white “b” side of the Love You Bunches paper.
After my photo was placed, I centered my title, created with the “my favorite” Sunshine and Good Times die cut and gold glitter Thickers, underneath my photo. Another flower die cut fit perfectly on the bottom left corner to take up that empty space.
This lovely little “the love list” due cut, included in the die cut shapes package was perfect for adding my typed journaling about the day. I adhered it to the left side of my photo, overlapping the background paper, and added the heart washi tape along the bottom edge.
To finish off the page, I added the cute heart decorative clip to the left corner of my photo. In the “ray” of white space leading to my photo and title, I added the adorable butterfly, heart, bird, flower and bee stickers from the sticker book and puffy sticker sheets, accenting with tiny yellow hearts stamped with the roller stamp. I love how all of these happy icons float away from my photo to emphasize how special these girls are to me.
I know that there are many more layouts in my future using the beautiful and happy Sunshine and Good Times collection!
