How to Make Paper Valentine’s Day Treat Boxes

Hi crafty friends! It's Flóra here with a two-in-one Valentine's Day party decor idea. I like when my creations have a function as well. So, I decided to make cute heart boxes that are great decoration on the table but can also hold something inside. I used the brand new Dear Lizzy Here & Now collection for today's post. Even if this is not a typical Valentine's Day line, just use all the pink, red, and floral items your heart desires!

These boxes are so easy to make. First, I cut out the box template using a digital cut file and my electronic die cutting machine. I picked the 12×12 pink paper titled "snapshot" for the base. This vibrant pink was perfect for this project! Once the box shape was cut out, I folded and glued it together. After, I decorated the front with cute pink stickers.

I added plenty of cardstock stickers and ephemera from the Here and Now collection. The gold puffy Thickers sheet includes tiny hearts that were perfect for this Valentine's Day project. In the end, I adhered one strip of gold washi tape around the box. I love the result!

I hope I have inspired you to make something pink and red for love day, even if you don't own any specific Valentine's Day themed supplies. Make sure to challenge yourself and make something fun! Thanks for stopping by today! Happy Crafting!
