Hello, American Crafts Fans! Jana Eubank here. I love floral papers and the new Twilight collection by One Canoe Two does not disappoint. I couldn't wait to pull out my fine-tipped detail scissors and fussy-cut several of the flowers to use on this next page.
I chose to use the white flowers from the Evening Posies paper. I love their brightly colored centers and the way the white pops off of the pink and periwinkle patterned papers I chose to use for the background layers of this page design.
The two photos I used for this page were very similar, even though they were taken at different times of this event. To help one photo stand out a bit more from the other, I layered a postcard die cut behind it and then attached the photo to it with a couple of the Flag Paper Clips. So cute!
I used two of the Wood Veneer words below each photo to serve as my title. The beautiful script font of the really add an elegant feel to this layout!
I added journaling to the ledger sticker from the Cardstock Sticker pack. I clustered together a couple of stamp die cuts, a heart die cut, and one of the wood buttons in the corner of the jouranling. The wood button repeats the wood of the Wood Veneer words creating a nice visual triangle to keep your eye moving around the page. A length of plaid washi tape along the bottom of the page anchors the entire design.
I can't wait to pull this collection out again and again to fussy-cut more flowers. Won't you give it a try?
