Hello American Crafts fans! Today, I am featuring an easy teacher appreciation card duo with a surprise gift card pocket inside! Your kids' teachers will be thanking you. This card duo features the Wild Card collection by Damask Love! I absolutely love her designs. The ready-to-use card sentiments and die cuts are perfect for any card-giving occasion.
The first card features a rainbow ice cream die cut and the rainbow striped paper. I simply added a small area of watercolor in each color of the rainbow with the markers from Vicki Boutin. Then, I slapped on the rainbow ice cream die cut, striped paper, washi tape, and the sentiment!
Inside the rainbow ice cream card is a surprise rainbow gift card pocket. This pocket is perfect for holding your teacher’s favorite drink stop! The ready to use sentiments included in the die cut pack and the Wild Card Project Pad make for fast, easy cards. No need to break out your stamps when the sentiment are this cute! I used the WE R Memory Keepers Pocket Punch Board to make the cute little gift card pocket!
The next card is even easier (!!!) and features an embellishment cluster on the front. I simply die cut a few tropical leaves and added them under the Wild Card toucan die cut. This cluster was added to the rainbow paper (an easy pop out from the project pad). You don’t even need scissors for a pop-out! I added sequins from the Wild Card Adhesive Sequins Pack.
Inside the toucan card, there is a flamingo surprise gift card pocket! I love the smaller scale of the pattern from the Wild Card 6×8 Paper Pad! How cute is the tropical leaf print peaking out from under the flamingos? Add a quick thank you sticker from the project pad and call it done! I would love to get one of these fun, summer themed cards if I was a teacher, wouldn’t you?
