Hello crafty friends! It’s Zinia here and today I’m back with a fun and spooky banner that I created using the gorgeous Bootiful Night collection.
When I create banner décor pieces, I always try to add a special element to them. So this time, I decided to use pocket shaped pieces for my banner.
I pulled my WeR memory Keepers Banner Punch board and the Bootiful Night 6×6 pad, and I cut out crest shapes. Then I grabbed some paper scraps from the same collection and cut very short crest shapes of the same width.
I stuck the short pieces onto the big ones to create the little pockets. I embellished half of the pieces with spooky pumpkin ephemera and the other half with haunted houses. In both cases I used spider webs cause they are my favorite Halloween type of décor.
Once all the pieces were ready, I arranged them in the order I liked them best and attached them on a piece of string using clothespins. The WeR Memory Keepers Banner punch board can actually punch holes to the banner pieces but I like it better to attached them on my string with clothespins in case I change my mind and I want to move things around later.
I think this is a really fun Halloween decoration perfect for parties or just to add a little bit of Halloween spirit in your space.
That’s it for today, I really hope you got inspired to create a fun DIY banner to decorate your house using your favorite supplies. Until next time, happy crafting.
