Hey American Crafts fans, it’s Terhi Koskinen here again and I’m beyond thrilled to show you what I have done with our brand new Cardmaking Sticker Books!
Having hundreds of beautiful stickers to any occasion is of course very appreciated feature of these books, but personally I love the books mainly because they make scrapbooking so easy and fun.
This layout is made only with the ‘Lots of Thanks’ Cardmaking Sticker Book and regular white cardstock. In addition, there’s the photographs, some white thread and colors from Vicki Boutin Art Crayons. So cool to carry such limited products and still make this layered and detailed layout.
Some of the stickers are attached straight onto the background, but most of them either with Sticky Thumb Foam Dots, or first to white cardstock – cut out – again attached with Sticky Thumb Foam Dots. Lifting some stickers with foam is very effective way to add dimension, and this way you can make layers.
As mentioned, some of the stickers are first attached onto white cardstock, to the smooth side. Then, I cut it out and used as I would use patterned paper. You can spy these pieces behind each photograph.
Last, I added some colors from the Vicki Boutin Art Crayons onto my craft mat, added drops of water and mixed it with a small brush. The liquid is very similar as liquid watercolor, but this is even easier way to mix colors. I added some drops of the color liquid onto the background, just as I was painting with regular watercolors. Drop here and drop there to make more details. Such relaxing way to do scrapbooking!
Now grab your Cardmaking Sticker Book and start playing, it’s so much fun!
Terhi xx
