Using Moxy Tube Confetti on a Scrapbook Layout

Hello crafty friends! It’s Lucile! This week I was able to test the Moxy Tube Confetti! I think it's great to add to our creations. So I had fun combining it with Amy Tangerine's new collection. In addition we can use it in different ways!

I chose to use only purple confetti to make it harmonious with my page. I started by applying gesso on my sheet to blend the pattern. Since I'm a sewing fan, I threaded the confetti with white thread to create lines. I sewed them on my page with the pattern of my background paper. I also add an orange paper to form a frame. I love this effect it allows to highlight papers that have white backgrounds.I add different washi tapes always following the pattern of the paper.

Then I matted my photo with a paper from the collection.

To decorate my page I used different embellishments of the collection. To contrast with the lines of confetti and paper patterns, I opted for a horizontal layout. I had fun varying colors and forms of embellishment. I used 3D foam squares to stick them to not flatten my confetti. I also added space to write my journaling. To finish I add hearts of the collection. I folded them in two before pasting them to add relief to my page.

I hope you enjoyed this layout and that you will have enjoyed discovering how to use confetti!
