I was pretty excited when I found that I was assigned for this week’s project theme – Santa Globe! I love finding jolly things to decorate our home around Christmas and the Santa Globe by One Canoe Two is perfection! The globe is so pretty in person and I especially love the soft pink surface with the script writing and the beautiful rose gold colored base.
Let’s take a closer look at the globe with its soft and beautiful design, it needs only a few accessories for being a delightful and unique decoration for any place in our house. I cut white poinsettia flowers from white card stock using my Silhouette and adhered them to the globe using repositionable glue so that I can change up my globe design from time to time.
I wanted to spice up the globe with gold shine, and I was immediately drawn to the new 1Canoe 2 Sticker Book. It has many gorgeous gold foiled design, and I found a whole sheet of beautiful gold stars.
I arranged evenly all the pretty stars around the surface, and I just love how the gold stars give that beautiful shine to the globe! I also used two butterfly stickers from the sticker book, I adhered them to white paper, fussy cut around, and this way I could use them as a 3D element on my globe.
To add an element of texture to the base, I used gold foiled letters from the sticker Book to add ‘A time for giving’ tone-on-tone words. I thought it would be grateful to have the globe remind me to the most important thing of the Season… help each other and share kindness in every way.
I hope that you enjoyed my process today and that my project has inspired you to get crafty with your own Santa globe!
