Up Your Planner Game with #Stickerbook

Hello everyone, it’s Zinia here and I’m back with another planner spread. Today I’m using the brand new and absolutely gorgeous planner sticker books by American Crafts. It seems that the first release of these 30-page sticker book beauties was a big hit so we are getting some more designs to play with!

For this spread, I wanted to share with you my process in handling big projects. I really love keeping things organized but at the same time, I don’t want to turn my tasks into a long and boring to-do list. What I like to do is keep a corkboard with all sorts of inspirational bits and motivational quotes along with my to-do lists and tasks. This way everything looks more cheerful and fun to work with.

Although that works great for long projects, this system gets a bit pointless when I have to change my tasks every couple of days. So I decided to create a faux motivation board in my planner. I’m using the beautiful Kelly Creates peace journal and a couple of my favorite planner sticker books.

First step is to title my page. This is definitely not necessary but my organizing soul really enjoys these little details. I really love using quotes and motivational sayings to kinda keep me on track when I’m working on a big project. There are always days that I lack motivation and I need a little push, sometimes a little happy sticker can do the trick.

I keep a list of major tasks on one page and smaller notes on the other side. I always make sure to leave small areas of empty space just so I have room to add more things later on.

The rainbow arrows and the adorable doodles are my two top favorite pages among all the sticker books. They make the perfect little accents for any project, especially planner pages.

To have easy access to this spread I made a DIY bookmark. I used a lovely little paper clip from the American Crafts office accessories set and added a banner sticker on its end to make it pop out from the top of the planner. This way it’s super easy to find the page once I grab my journal.

This kind of motivational board is not just for work related stuff. I actually started making this kind of boards while I was in school to plan out my studying schedule. It can also be a fun way to organize things like house cleaning or your fitness routine (especially if you are using the gorgeous fitness themed planner sticker book!).

I really hope you got inspired and you are going to make your planning a little bit more fun and colorful in the future These sticker books are definitely a great way to do that.

Until next time, happy crafting.
