Happy Monday all! Terhi Koskinen here again, this time with a sweet little mini album made with the most colorful and inspiring collection from Amy Tangerine: Shine On.
Scrapbooking is my true passion, and making mini albums in my most favorite form of it. One mini album can hold all the highlights of one whole year, stretch one single moment to several pages, and everything between those two. As for example, this mini album holds two second of real life, spread on to several photographs.
The story behind the photographs one of the sweetest from last summer. Here in Finland where I live we have very short summers, and the days that can be enjoyed at the beach are really rare. That’s why such simple things as sitting on hot sand, feeling it between toes and fingers is something I definitely want to capture to our family scrapbooks.
The mini album recipe is simple. I took 10” x 4” piece of patterned paper and fold it leaving 1”x4” area in the middle. Then to inside I added several 3,5”x3,5” pages. The pages are attached to each other with another paper piece, so the album opens in a zig-zag way.
This kind of album is easy to make without D-rings, machines, stitching or actually anything else than paper, scissors and adhesives.
Each page has either a photograph or paper with image or phrase. I also added some fussy cut flowers from the paper ‘Bouquet’ from the Shine On collection. The paper ‘The Good Life’ came handy making the pages inside, as all the phrases and images matched together so well.
Hope you find mini albums as fun as I do. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask leaving a comment here. Thank you for stopping by!
