Hello, American Crafts fans! It’s Meghann Andrew, and if you’re like me, you find your planner almost as necessary as your right hand! I’m not sure how I would keep track of life without it, and the new American Crafts 2018 Monthly/Weekly Planners are perfect for planning your time!
This coming year, instead of using my planner only as a way to track my progress on projects in my weekly pages, I’ve decided to also focus more on looking at my month as a whole. What better way to do that than to combine my love of papercrafting with planning by using American Crafts products—specifically the Creative Devotion collection, which includes so many perfect products that can transfer from your Bible pages to your planner!
I began my month with a “hello” sticky note from the Sticky Note Dashboard on January 1st, and I added the small Alpha Stickers to add “2018.” These are the perfect size for adding a small notes to your monthly or weekly pages. To add some color to the day, and match the Dear Lizzy Make a Wish paper, I added colorful washi tape along the base of the day.
On the opposite page, I added a stamped bird from the Creative Devotion acrylic stamps to a special day of remembrance, coloring it in with the amazing gel crayons, which are perfect in both your Bible and your planner! Rub-ons, texture stickers and the versatile accent stickers with phrases like, “today” and “remember” were used on days to remember appointments, or days such as, “houseplant appreciation day.”
Brightly-colored Creative Devotion washi tape make birthdays and holidays easy to see at first glance when I open my planner, and extra color was added to an exciting birthday party event with the gel crayons, which create the perfect base of color for stamping and adding a handwritten note with the Creative Devotion pen set.
The “Satur-YAY” die-cut from the Star Gazer collection was the perfect size to mark an exciting weekend event. I’m excited to have my planner started for the first month of a new year, using the beautiful Creative Devotion and Star Gazer collections with my brand new American Crafts 2018 Monthly/Weekly Planner!
