Hi American Crafts Fans! It’s Flóra here! Today, I will be showing you some tips on how to create a pretty spring scrapbook layout with fussy cut flowers. For this page, I used the Here & Now collection by Dear Lizzy. While this collection has definite summer vibes, it contains gorgeous florals and other adorable bits that work perfectly to document your spring photos.
For the background, I used the lime green Bright Side paper. I cute out an enlarged floral die cut with an electric cutting machine and adhered to the background paper. I added liquid glue only on some places to keep any airy and light look. I placed the 3×4 photo with Sticky Thumb Foam Dots and started the decoration process.
I fussy cut floral elements from the Delightful paper. When you fussy cut small pieces, it is important to have a comfortable and handy pair of scissors. I have the We R Memory Keepers Spring Scissors, which are my absolute favorite! They have never disappointed me. I cut out smaller and bigger pieces that I placed around the photo. I highlighted some of the flowers with foam dots. I love to create layers between the floral elements, too.
After I was satisfied with the arrangement, I added some stickers. The title is from the awesome phrase Thickers sheet called Heat Wave. I also found those cool sneakers on the 6×12 Cardstock Stickers pack. I could not resist adding some Puffy Stickers and Epoxy dots. I like the colorful and happy vibe of the Dear Lizzy Here & Now collection. I could perfectly bring back the feelings of the time this selfie was taken.
I hope you could find new ideas today here. Thanks for stopping by!
