How to Create a Card with Only Three Products
Hello AC fans, it’s Lucile! I am so excited to show you my latest creation today. Have you ever wanted to make a card using minimal product? Today I will show you how to make a card using only 3 products! To create my cards I used the Shimelle Field Trip collection. This collection works great for making cards, and it is adorable!
To begin, I selected a paper from the 6×8 block collection. It's a pattern with a variety of circles. I cut the paper in half in order to make two cards with it. I really like creating a series of cards with similar elements. To create the bottom of the card, I used a second paper from the block. I stuck the half circle on the background paper. Then I sewed along the lines of the patterns. This step adds dimension to the card and makes it easy to link the two papers.
The second product I used to make my cards is the ephemera. I always have a package of ephemera in my drawers. That way, I always have easy and quick decorations on hand.
For the first card I wanted to play on the white tones by adding white embellishments. I glued them with 3D foam stickers so that they stand out from the color on the bottom of the card. To finish, I added an ephemera with a message. This card was so simple and requires so little material!
For the second card, I used the same steps but with different background paper. I then added an ephemera with an astronaut. With the same card base and the same collection we can easily change the theme of our creation. On this card I used an additional element. I wrote "explore" with the alphabet stickers from the collection.
I hope these cards have given you some ideas to create your own with hardly any material. I'll see you soon for a new creation!
