Hello American Crafts fans! Terhi Koskinen here to bring some flower inspiration and positive vibes to your holidays!
I know wildflowers are not traditional thing for Christmas, but I’m not here talking about any Holiday celebrations. Instead I want to take a look to this pass year and take a moment to appreciate my biggest achievement: American Crafts Design Team.
When I started scrapbooking years ago, the first brand I fell in love to was no other than American Crafts. Here in Finland opportunities to purchase American Crafts products were very limited back then, so when I finally found the way to buy online a whole new world opened! And then I really started to follow what American Crafts designers did to inspire us followers.
And now I’m here. It’s this unbelievable, as if you look my creations like this layout, the recipe to create is very simple.
First I did some fun fussy cutting with Field Notes ‘Among the Wildflowers’ and ‘Take Flight’ papers. As soon as I had enough flowers and butterflies, I simply adhered them onto white cardstock framing the upper part of the paper and also added the photograph between the flowers.
To finish the layout I added some Field Notes Chipboard Stickers, Puffy Stickers and transparent splashes from Field Notes Watercolor Stickers. That’s it. If I can do it, you can do it too.
Back then, when I dreamed about designing for American Crafts, I thought I should be much more talented, much better with techniques and much more of everything! Now I know all I need is open mind and strong trust my personal style – no need to do anything but exactly what pleases my eyes and fits to our family scrapbooks. Just like making this layout, I just had fun with scissors and memorizing the moment of stepping to my Dream Team.
And if I can achieve my goals, you can too. Keep dreaming, and just be your beautiful and talented self.
