Hi Ladies! It’s Flóra back on the American Crafts blog. Today I will share with you how to make a holiday garland in easy 3 steps with non-traditional supplies. For this papercraft project I have used the Amy Tangerine Slice of Life collection. This line includes lots of beautiful patterned papers and cute stickers what was perfect for my holiday garland. I picked a green-pink color palette for the project.
Step One
First, I fussy cut cute pink and green sweaters from 12×12 Knit Wit Paper. I just love them! I decorated each sweater with a tiny Puffy Stickers mimic patterns on the sweater.
Step Two
I grabbed 12×12 Onward and Upward Paper and cut out holly leaves from the green side. I also cut berries from 12×12 Spotted Here and Sprinkle Confetti Papers. I used my electric cutting machine but you can easily use circle punch for the berries and draw a template for the leaves by hand and trace it over and over. I bent the leaves in the middle using scoring board. Then, I grouped the berries with liquid glue and highlighted one with foam tape just to reach a 3D look.
Step Three
I find some pretty pink and white baker’s twine in my stash what I used for the base of the garland. I adhered all the little elements with heat glue gun. It was super fast and easy.
I hope you like my holiday garland made with the adorable Amy Tangerine – Slice of Life collection. Make sure to try out! Happy Crafting! Flóra
