Hi everyone and welcome to chalk globe week on the blog! I hope that you will enjoy how the design team is using the brand new chalk globes this week.
I love using globes to decorate around the house so I was so excited when I found out that One Canoe Two was expanding to include new chalkboard globes. These globes act as the perfect blank canvas to add your own personalized expressions and drawings.
I don't know about you but I am not super confident about creating art using my own handwriting/journaling, so I cheated a bit for this project. I simply picked a phrase from the Silhouette design studio (Make A Wish) and trimmed out the design using my Silhouette Cameo.
Next, I used the design as a template. To do this I simply used regular tape and taped the outline of the design to my chalkboard globe and then filled in the letters using my chalk marker. After my phrase was completed I simply hand doodled a few hand drawn stars across my globe to complete the design.
