Hello crafty friends, it’s Lucile! Today, I am sharing the cutest Easter decoration with you! For this project, I used the collection "It's All Good" by Dear Lizzy. I think it's perfect for spring! Celebrating Easter is one of my favorite childhood memories. I have always loved Easter!
I started by making the basket. I just used a small crate that I had at home. You can fill it with any "springy" things like eggs, Easter candy, or pastries!
First, I covered the bottom of my basket with paper so that the smaller things inside would not fall out. I decorated it with stickers and die cuts from the collection. Then I made a cake topper to put on the top. I cut a banner and pasted on the letters. To make it stand, I used skewers that I stuck to the back with hot glue.
I had so much fun with these adorable paper carrots. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut them. I used these carrots to put in my basket and decorate my table. I also think these carrots would make absolutely adorable garlands!
Finally, I created a wreath of flowers. I love creating seasonal wreaths. For this one I also filled the inside of the wreath. I started by drawing a circle on cardboard to solidify it. Then I cut "happy Easter" with my silhouette Cameo. I used yellow paper in order to bring out the color.
To finish, I cute flowers and leaves out of the different patterned papers to create the wreath. I also painted eggs to make the wreath even more Easter themed! I hope you get the chance to make your very own paper crafted easter wreath! See you next time.
